Tour Description
Dry Suit Diver
The PADI Drysuit Diver course teaches you how to dive with a drysuit, which is filled with air to keep you warm and dry underwater. Your instructor will guide you in controlling the air in your drysuit and managing your buoyancy. Additionally, you’ll learn about different types of drysuits, as well as basic repairs and maintenance to keep your gear in top condition.
- Prerequisites: PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or qualifying entry-level certification)
- Total time commitment: 2-3 days
- Minimum age: 10 years or older

Prerequisites:
Course prerequisites: most divers enroll in the PADI Dry Suit Diver specialty course after earning their Open Water Diver certification, but in some areas, it’s necessary for divers to complete their Open Water course in a drysuit.
If you’re interested in using a drysuit during your Open Water Diver course, talk to your instructor. To earn the drysuit specialty certification, you’ll need to make one additional dive after your Open Water Diver certification. Ask your instructor for more information.
