Underwater Navigator Specialty

Become the scuba diver everyone trusts with the PADI Underwater Navigator course. This specialty course sharpens your observation skills and teaches precise compass navigation underwater. If you’re a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver aged 10 or older, you can enroll.

You’ll practice compass use on the surface, then apply your skills in three dives. Learn to estimate distances, follow natural cues, and confidently navigate back to the boat or shore. Challenge yourself and enjoy the rewarding experience of mastering underwater navigation.
